Jessieville School District invites applications for the position of Superintendent, beginning July 1, 2026.

Key Responsibilities 

The Superintendent will: 

• Collaborate with families, staff, and community stakeholders. 
• Manage district operations, budgets, and organizational systems effectively. 
• Oversee and enhance safety programs and features. 
• Promote the district’s mission, vision, and values at all levels. 
• Lead with transparency, professionalism, and ethical integrity in all decisions. 

Required Qualifications 

• Valid Arkansas Superintendent License (or eligibility to obtain upon hire). 
• Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or related field. 
• Strong knowledge of assessment, curriculum, instruction, and educational strategies to enhance student achievement.
• Proven experience with school district budget preparation and management. 
• Leadership experience involving personnel, finances, and general operations. 
• Excellent written and oral communication skills. 
• Understanding of Arkansas statutes, including FOIA, with the ability to uphold Board policies and procedures in a  professional and ethical manner. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Record of success in recruiting, retaining, and developing talented staff. 
• Experience in strategic planning and community engagement. 
• Demonstrated success as a Superintendent, Principal, or comparable educational leader. 

Compensation & Benefits 

• Competitive salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
• Comprehensive benefits package included.
